New Schedule - First Sundays, 2-5 PM

So you can sip your lemonade or sell it, swing on your rocker or on the swings, and/or any other fun warm-weather activities, we have a new lazy hazy crazy schedule beginning in June 2015. In syncronicity with Choro Loco in Seattle, until further notice our little choro circle will meet first Sunday of the month, from 2-5 PM.

We're small and new, sometimes just a sax and flute duo, so don't be intimidated if you're new to the music. If you play any percussion, string or wind instrument--drums, guitar, accordion, ukelele, violin, bassoon--we welcome you. Ear players, readers, young, and old; all who want to learn how to play this beautiful music are welcomed. Contact us for exact location. We're in Laurel Heights / Tobin Hill, near La Fonda on Main.

For inspiration, here's a little choro from the great Pixinguinha. It's called "Proezas de Solon," which means "Solomon's feats." The reference may sound biblical, but I understand it was written for Pixinguinha's dentist, Sol, who had his work cut out for him...
